The race is run over 2 miles and 4 and a half furlongs and features 17 fences to navigate over its course. The race is open to horses age 5 years old and over and 2026 is the second year that this race has been moved to the second race of the day after its reclassification to a Grade 2 race. Last year's winner was the Paul Nicholls trained Caldwell Potter who was crewed by Harry Cobden.
