With a massive 84 entrants into this year's race, this is the final race at the Cheltenham Festival 2026. These entrants will be pared down to a maximum field of 24 horses who will contest 10 hurdles on the 2 mile and 4 and a half furlong course. This ungraded race is open to horses age 4 years and older. No horse has even won this race more than once, but trainer Gordon Elliott has trained the last two winners – 6 year old Better Days Ahead in 2024 and 5 year old Wodhooh in 2025.
