The penultimate race at the 2026 Cheltenham Festival is a Class 2 race over 3 miles and 2 and a half furlongs on the New Course. The race has 22 fences to jump and a maximum field of 24 horses will compete out of 35 entries. The race is open to horses age 5 years and older, and only amateur jockeys are allowed to ride. It is run over the same distance and course as the Gold Cup and is often referred to as the Amateurs Gold Cup. Last year's winner was 9 year old Wonderwall.
