The final day of the Cheltenham Festival 2012 is started by the JCB Triumph Hurdle – a Grade One race open only to 4 year old novices and run over a distance of 2 miles and 220 yards. Jockeys have to clear 8 fences during the race to claim a portion of the £100000 prize pot.
