Thursday 15th March – 16:00 Byrne Group Plate

Previously known as the Festival Plate, the Byrne Group Plate is a Grade 3 handicap chase run over a distance of 2 miles and 4.5 furlongs on the Cheltenham new Course. The race has 15 fences to negotiate and is open to horses that are 5 years or older. The race tends to attract a large field which can lead to long odds horses winning.
