The third day of the 2012 Cheltenham Festival starts with the Jewson Novices Steeple Chase.This is a brand new race although Jewson themselves are an old sponsor, previously sponsoring the Jewson Novices Handicap which is run of the opening day (which has now been renamed as the Centenary Novices Chase).The race itself is a 2 miles and 5 furlong chase open to horses that are 5 years old or more and is run on the New Course at Cheltenham.
